Founder and director of NY Orthopedics and director of the Nicholas Institute of Sports Medicine and Athletic Trauma, the first hospital-based facility in the country dedicated to the study of sports medicine, Dr. Nicholas has served as orthopedic team physician for the New York Jets and New York Islanders. A Harvard graduate, he trained at the Hospital for Special Surgery, directs the sports medicine fellowship at Lenox Hill Hospital, and has been named one of New York's Best Doctors by New York Magazine for ten consecutive years.
