Getting started

How is Insyght different from the bloodwork my doctor already orders?

A standard physical checks around 20 markers and flags a result only when it falls outside the broad lab reference range. Insyght tests 100 biomarkers across 10 body systems and interprets each one against optimal ranges for your age and sex, not just normal. That means we surface early, in-range-but-suboptimal shifts a routine panel would miss, and a physician reviews every result so you get context, not just numbers.

Do I need a doctor's order or a referral to get tested?

No. Your membership includes physician oversight, so an Insyght-affiliated doctor authorizes your panel for you. You book a draw, get tested, and your results are reviewed by a physician. There is nothing to arrange with your own doctor first.

Where do I get my blood drawn?

At any of 2,000+ Quest Diagnostics locations nationwide, or at home with a certified phlebotomist where available. It is one simple draw for the full 100-marker panel, so you are not making multiple trips.

How long does the appointment take, and do I need to fast?

The draw itself takes about 10 minutes. An overnight fast of 8 to 12 hours is recommended for the most accurate results, and water is encouraged.

Results and protocols

What happens if all my results come back normal?

That is a good outcome, and it is still valuable. Optimal-range interpretation shows you where you are thriving and establishes your personal baseline, so next year we can catch small changes early, long before they would ever trip a standard reference range. Prevention is the point, not just diagnosis.

How are my results reviewed?

Every value is read against optimal ranges for your age and sex, not just the broad lab reference range, and a physician reviews your panel. Results are turned into a personalized plan you can act on. You can read how we think about this in Optimal vs normal lab ranges.

What is the Insyght Health Score?

Six proprietary scores across your 10 body systems, trackable over time, so you can watch your numbers move as you retest rather than reading one-off results in isolation.

Membership and billing

What does the $199 membership actually include?

One comprehensive 100-biomarker panel, physician review of every result against optimal ranges, a clear Insyght Health Score across your 10 systems, and a personalized protocol covering nutrition, lifestyle, and supplements. It is a flat $199 per year with no hidden per-test fees.

Can I use my HSA or FSA to pay?

In most cases, yes. The Insyght membership is generally HSA and FSA eligible as a qualified medical expense. Because plan rules vary, we recommend confirming with your benefits administrator, and we can provide an itemized receipt for reimbursement.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. The membership is a straightforward annual plan and you can cancel anytime. There are no long-term contracts and no cancellation penalties.

How do refunds work?

The membership is a straightforward annual plan at $199 per year with no long-term contracts and no cancellation penalties. You can cancel from your member account or by contacting us through insyghthealth.com. Full details are in our refund policy.
